Updated NVIDIA DLSS file 3.5.10 you can drag & drop into your RDR2/RDO as well.
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll
You can better control Season / Weather changes with Rampage Trainer as well.
Yea, that isn't the issue. There must be a conflict somewhere.
It also doesn't help that the creator disabled comments. Hate when they do that. You can't even report any bugs as well.
Run the LML mod manager EXE and ensure that mod is enabled.
Here's mine:
[MISC]
; The time (in minutes) between season changes
SEASON_LENGTH = 400
; Should the season widget be displayed
SEASON_WIDGET = 1
; turn these off for compatibility with other mods
; should replace visual settings file
VISUAL_SETTINGS = 1
; should replace region temperature file
REGION_TEMPERATURE = 1
; should replace weather climates file
WEATHER_CLIMATES = 1
[VESTIGIA]
; turn to 1, if using the Vestigia merge
COMPATIBILITY_MODE = 1
Thanks Appreciate the help.
I got the mod to work. What I did was I downloaded and installed the other mods like basic needs, etc. And I started a brand new game. I deleted my saves and started fresh. When I got to the the second chapter, I hit ALT and now I can see the widget, and what season I am in. But there is another issue, which I had from my previous play thru a few months back.
1. The season doesn't match the temps in the game. Its summer, but I'm getting 3 degrees Celsius, or about 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is just above freezing when outside. Inside a building, the temps go up which is expected. But a 3 degree Celsius reading in the summer? That doesn't make much sense.
2. Off topic, but my cores are draining extremely fast. I had this issue in my past play thru. I'm wondering if basic needs is the culprit. From what I remember I played more of the game and it resolved itself. I just was curious if you had the same issue? Do you use basic needs at all? Or any mods similar?
Thanks again for your help. I have off from work tomorrow and so I'll play with the game some more when I get the chance.
If you would read through the README file that comes with DynamicSeasons mod; it explains all of this.
Please ensure you disable this mod (move all of this mods files out of the RDR2 game folder and LML folder) before loading into Chapter 5 at all.
What about the temps not matching the season? Have you experienced this? In my case, its summer, but the temp reads 3 degrees Celsius.
Move?
What doesn't move?
Also it's a known bug that when it goes to change seasons, it doesn't actually do it. When this happens, simply save your game, then reload that same save and the season timer should restart properly on the new season.
I would review the file called Seasons.INI as this holds the Settings for that mod.
If you have further issues, delete the Seasons.DAT file, then relaunch the game again. The DAT file is a TEMP file of sorts that keeps track of the Season and the Season Timer. Thus the Season and Season Timer have nothing to do with your saved game progress; it's simply based around "active run time in the game world" and your PCs real world clock. If you do not like the pace of how fast the seasons change, adjust the timer in the INI file. I have mine set to 400. But if you do not play many hours on-end, this will seem too long for a season to change. if so, then something like 100 or 200 is probably a better setting for most people.
