Yeah, controls are really bad .. Ive died and shouted at the PC more times because of these damned clunky controls than i have failing the actual missions.. Dead eye doesnt work in a shootout or a surprise robbery, you have to activate it before the shootout starts .. and god knows how many times my horse has randomly ridden up a tree or down a cliff.. killing me and failing the mission.. ssooo many times Ive lost count..
Its true what they say.. Its just GTA set in the wild west, unfortunately, RDR2 comes with all of GTA bugs as well.. some are funny, but 99% are frustrating and annoying
Seriously?... You do know you can buy a Rockstar PC Key and run the game directly through the Rockstar Launcher and Social Club, without Steam Right ..
The bad controls, clunky movement, and total aimlessness of the storyline all really wear down my enthusiasm to play. Every now and then I end up with literally no missions and no indication on what I should be doing next. I'm assuming I should infer something from his impossible to read diary, but I wish the game just told me what the next objective was.
It leans a bit too hard on the " You're in the wild west......" motif. It's still a game, and games should strive to reduce tedium.
As if this game was actually challenging enough to require that. lol
You clearly seem challenged with basic day to day life
The marker system on the map is a disaster! LEARN from KCD, Rockstar!
Also the map always opens at the very bottom, so frustrating.
Got by the sheriff to pay my bounty, out of nowhere (wasn't touching the mouse) my character draws his gun. Great, got shot by the sheriff. Nice BUGS...
I need to collect plants for a William, but I can't pluck any more so I can't give them to him (is not enough). What do I have to do then? They really know how to take the fun out of missions/tasks...
This game really has to make it by its looks as the controls are a total failure.
Exactly...
Shooting random people happens alot.. I shot the shop keeper in Valentine a few days ago, and the law just killed me.. BUT.. the O'Driscols mugging someone next to the tree round the corner.. I couldnt even draw my guns before they short me..
or
Your riding down the road and come across a "random" stranger asking for help.. your helping them to the town, suddenly a wagon passing you, crashes into you or my horse just steers into a tree.. the stranger screams .. then runs off.. Ive lost the "honour" points so many times. Or, if you die.. the game checkpoints half way up a mountain..
These instances are BUGS.. its not about getting Gud
Could you give me perhaps a clue why the lasso doesn't work. I capture animals but then they always get loose or they pull me off my horse.
