I want a refund

This game is infested with hackers. Because of the time sink before you find this out, they refuse a refund. If I am not refunded for this game, you can bet money that I will never trust you in the future. Stop being lazy with your hacker problem, or refund with less issue.

Should not have to depend on a 4th party to do the work of the third party, that should have been taken out of sale from the second party. My refund has been refused by Steam, so I am going to not only make sure everyone I know stays away from this game, but I am also posting it on discord gaming communities, and any chat with people looking for a game to play that I can find. I am going to make sure my one sale they could have reversed easily costs them at the very least a sale a day until I get bored doing it. My trust in buying from steam is also hurt now because for years I thought Steam had my back. Now I know they care about as much as this company. Do not buy this game. It is a waste of your money, and Steam does not have your back in the end.

Very simple to understand unless they make sure you don;t see the multiplayer for 2 hours. Of course when you get there you find out the company is as crooked as the hackers.

Why would anyone buy RDR2 to play the Online, and not already know what they are buying into. Like anything else, research before you buy. There's like a million videos on YouTube that covers RDR2 Story and RDO.

Again you can play RDO just fine, via Private Session.
Public Session with randoms are the issue at-hand.

It's not new, it's a Rockstar Game; GTAV Online was like this many years before RDR2 even came out.

Get rid of the spaces, follow the tutorial. If you give the password to friends, they can join you.

Maybe because WE can't do anything about it.
It's up to Rockstar to address that issue.
I don't even worry about it anymore.
I play RDO since 2022 via Private Session; sometimes solo, sometimes with friends.
To me it's like the issue doesn't even exist. I have no need to go back to playing via Public Sessions.

The issue with this as a new player in RDO is that you're not going to have much to do until get get some Gold (can get from Treasure Map + Chests, Missions, Quests, Daily Challenges and such) so you can use Gold to pay for the added Roles; such as Bounty Hunter, Trader, Collector, Moonshiner, Naturalist.

You're just repeating what I suggested in a different way. You're basically just saying "Go play RDO via Private Session" which is what those videos explain to players how to do.

The RDO private session file is on my Steam Profile in the Comments section.
The instructions are included in the link, just replace the instructions in the file with a session password.

i dont think anyone gives a crap about modders doing modder crap. its when they become unfairly disruptive. getting bounced with explosives, randomly getting hogtied and thrown in a jail you cant escape from, get fire bombed the moment you get online, to name a few.
