STARTUP BLACK SCREEN (FIXED)

I have been having this issue for months now and its driving me mental. Months ago I was able to play RDR2 without any issues. After that, for some reason when it starts up now, there is no loading screen - its just black - but I can hear the sounds of the buck-shot going off and I can hear the main menu music. Just not able to see or play the game. Only sound works. No problems with any other games in my list either. I tried uninstalling and re-installing too. Nothing has worked so far. Let me know if anyone else has got the same issue and fixed it. Please tell me how to fix this issue - Cheers

No. That's why I am here, to see if anybody else had the same issue and fixed it so that they could tell me how to fix it. Somebody mentioned elsewhere that it could be a problem due to the cloud saving feature. I will wait to see if anyone else here has fixed this issue or give me some suggestions or tips.

Thanks man, I looked at every post I could find but somebody in your post suggested to "Turn off" MSI Afterburner - the only thing I had not tried. It worked. THANK YOU!!!

I had tried everything from deleting the settings folder, making a copy of the profiles folder and removing it, disabling cloud saves etc. - IF YOU ARE USING MSI AFTERBURNER - TURN IT OFF BEFORE LAUNCHING THE GAME!

you have to open nvidia geforece and there is an option to optimize the game
