Legendary Moose Pelt Bugged

I have had it about up to here with the PC port of this game and the bugs. This is about my third ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time trying to complete this game 100% and I always run into some game breaking bug. This time I was out hunting and ran into the Legendary Moose. Killed it and skinned it and I looked online to find out I am having a bug that many others have run into since it has come out and the only way for me to get around it is to completely restart the game for the fourth time as I manually save and have only one save (I now know this is a no no). The legendary pelt is only showing up as "pelt" I have validated files, restarted the game, reloaded the save to after the kill and it is still only showing as pelt. Don't get me wrong I love this game , but this is getting ridiculous and it just feels like there is always something. I had gotten so damn far and was so excited to finally beat this game over here, but with all of the bugs it seems like 100% might just be an impossible dream. End of rant, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The moose is just another pathetic situation with RD2 it is difficult to find them its almost as if they do not even exist - so many think this game is so great overall its a huge let down to what it could be for those who don't care about getting pelts and doing challenges and stuff it comes off as a much better game - regarding what the player should be able to do if they want its a big let down.
