The Ties That Bind Us mission bug

[Legalize Comedy !]

Anyone else experience this bug? Numerous people have talked about the game bugging during this mission and not letting them collect all five bounty posters. My bug is different in that I did collect all five bounty posters, but when I go back to Mr White and Mr Black at their camp, they just stand there, unable to interact.
This happened while playing as Arthur, and no amount of time in the game has unbroken this mission. I came back to this mission as John Marston and it completely restarted, but still yet again, after collecting the five posters, I can’t interact with them. It’s broken.
It’s relevant to note, I have mods right now, but when I experienced this under Arthur, I had zero mods installed.

And a funny side note, I can blow them up with dynamite, and when I ride off and come back, they’ll be cloned, standing there with the mission marker regenerated, standing next to their own dead bodies. Still unable to interact with them, or even capture and turn them in.

It seems like your game was broken from the beginning, suggest verifying the files.

this has happened to me too, save ur game near them and then load that save, u should then be able to interact with them
if it doesnt work then try restarting the game

Holy moly, that helped! read so many articles. even waited til after chapter 6 as someone suggested. But saving near them and loading again helped!
