Random stutters even in the main menu and other menus

Hi

I bought the game a few days ago and it has been running without any real issues for around 7 hours (two play sessions)
Now when I try to run the game it randomly freezes every few seconds. The frame freezes, the music stops and then it all resumes until it freezes again.

It is very consistent and happens even in the main menu.
I have no issues running newer and equally intensive games so it is something specific to RDR2, especially considering it ran fine before.

I have tried so far
-Putting the game to it's lowest settings
-Switching from Vulkan to DX12
-Fullscreen to Windowed and back
-Verifying integrity

I have not tried reinstalling the game as my internet speed is quite slow, it would take literally an entire day.


Here are my specs, they comfortably exceed RDR2's minimum demands.
