Next- when you log in - do you actually 'see' that account owning your games? Do you see the characters and game stats? If you go to the account settings / linked accounts tab - do you see your steam account linked there? If you do not - you are not 'on the correct' social club account. If you DO - then.. go change the email.
There are tons of people that have had their social club accounts 'lost' / hacked / forgotten /etc - and this came back HARD in June2023ish. Many people have found that 'new' social club accounts were made with their old email - so it 'logs in' but is entirely useless. Whether, the 'hacker' took it, or they made it themselves not reading prompts and trying to log in - who knows.
What you can do - is check your emails - for an email from R* - about the email on the social club account being changed. This notification email should have a link in it to let you recover your account without R*. It may be in another language - translate it. You can also see the yellow characters/link in the body. Hoooooweeever - if you already have a social club account using your old email (which is 'sounds' like til you confirm') - then this recovery link wont' work UNTIL you change the email on the bogus/fake/useless account to something else - releasing your email for the recovery link to work (if the recovery link hasn't expired).
Many users have had success using the compromised account link from R* - you don't even need to log in to put in a ticket. You will have to answer questions/prove ownership, etc. Some others say they have better luck using 'other' contact links - YMMV obviously.
Link saying most of above / differently - and links to R*, etc.

As for the automatically resolved - who knows. R* support has good days, bad days, good agents, and bad. All the usual 'support' related issues. That isn't even really getting into the recovery process itself - which is hit or miss for many 'supposedly'. Slap on a layer of connection issues, R* launcher 'issues', date/time not sync'd, controlled folder access blocking R* launcher/social club, firewalls, etc (all this for legit credentials that 'don't work' - and on the correct linked social club account). Fun stuff.
/goodluck - for some it takes hours, others.. weeks.
All I know is that Rockstar is unreachable and I will never EVER buy another product from them. This is ridiculous.
No games on the account is a tell-tale sign - same as the linked accounts tab not showing your steam account. If your gta5 is on the same social club account - that technically shouldn't be able to sign in/work either.
All you can do is try to recover, and sort out 'how' the account information may have possibly been changed.. /chuckle - there's quite a few ways. Annoying - yep. Again, /goodluck
edit - and just because -.-
