failed to join, this player is not your friend
From the very beginning I really liked this game, until the moment I wanted to play with my friend. I don't see him online in RDO, and I can't join him, even though he's my friend on steam. I spent 3 hours trying to solve this problem but it didn’t work out for me. Very disappointed. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Being friends in steam isn't enough, you need to accept each other as friends in R* social club from in-game . . . go into RDO then bring up the players menu (L on the keyboard) and click on your name, then go into social club and search for you friends R*/reddead name (not the steam name) and invite to be friends, once either of you accepts, your both friends.

After that, when you bring up the players list in-game in RDO you should be able to see each others names listed, and be able to click the name and select 'invite' or 'join' from there. Should be what you need, good luck ;)
