Exploits & Glitches is a good move & the only ones that would even QQ, would be cheaters.
Well, tell that to Rockstar, hackers are still on the move and people are choosing lobby manager over vanilla ♥♥♥♥ of this game. I disagree, glitches are mistakes made by the company, not by players. if there's a glitch to shorten the path of tedious farming and grinding, on purpose to make people spend real money on GOLD BARS to start the roles, so it's fair. Honestly, I can't see how good this will be for the game, less players will be playing now, since most of the online players were looking for people to try out glitches for achievement purpose, now I believe people will drop out.
Hackers issue are still there, moonshiner wagon stuck, stable stuck, side mission for Trader role also with bugs, empty treasure chest and no new content at all.
Kuroneko, I believe you must be the only person satisfied with this new update.
Rockstar wants people to quit this game, actually wanted this for a long time, the online is just a cash grab, if you're happy with this new update, you can spend your real money on gold bars or grind like hell to start roles.
As I said, I believe everything that could be considered good in the game, they removed.
Glitches never pulled out people from games, on the contrary. But now it will, and with GTA6 coming, I doubt that RDR2 will reach 50k players online again.
The only ones that would complain are the ones that take the easy road by using exploits, & Yes Rockstar hasn't made a Major Update as of yet other than this small patch that did a good job in fixing an Exploit that was being abused by players that love to cheat.
Answer me this, in other games when there is an exploit, do the developers fix those exploits or do they leave them alone so that people can continue to abuse it? As far as i know & have experienced in my game time on other games, those exploits get fixed & the players that got caught abusing it were punished ( in those games ), If you remember some time ago there was a Ban wave that happened & people were complaining about it.
I bet that 50%-60% ( or so ) of the players that got the Ban Hammer, were the ones doing the Exploits & when they got caught they made posts claiming innocence. So some time passed & some were reinstated.
Now Rockstar patched this Exploits that players kept abusing in order to put a stop to it, and what do cheaters do ? they start to make posts complaining about it.
My point is :
1 : If you don't like to work for your keep ( Figure of speech btw ), then move to a kid friendly game that is easier for you.
2: Nobody forces the player to spend their money, & don't give me that bull about Rockstar forcing anyone cause in reality the one that is doing the clicking & spending, is the user, Rockstar is not sitting next to the user & pointing a gun to your head & telling you to spend money.
3: The only one that can decide weather to spend money on a game, is the player & that's a fact.
I always wonder why people keep blaming the game companies for the players spending habits ( Spending Addictions in some cases that i've heard & read about ).
If so then that's super.
Ohh & btw ( 𝕭𝖊𝖑𝖒𝖔𝖓𝖙 ), i have spent Real Hard Earned Money IRL for RDR2 Gold but i did so in moderation.
I'd say i know how to properly handle my money. And i don't go around blaming the company for my purchases ether.
Can easily go farm the gold bars needed to pay for a role within a day or two of playing.
Glitches aren't exploit to be honest. I'm not using a third party software to compromise the game and make a proper cheat to bypass the company system.
Glitches are errors unseen by the devs that got to the final product.
You are right that rockstar is not putting a gun to force people spend real money, but that doesn't change the fact that the game is ruined for years and it gets pretty much unbalanced for beginners.
My point is that the glitch was useful to shorten the path to get the the online achievements and then quit this abandoned game. Honestly, it feels like the online version was made by EA, but I understand it's their product and they do anything they want.
There is nothing extra to click; just update the launcher and launch it.
I didn't spend a cent on gold bars. I'm not blaming the company for this, I'm complaining about what they fixed that made online fun for a while.
