I am getting an update every day. What the hell is happening?

I was suspecting this. But three days in a row? My other R* launcher games did not receive so many updates.

Since Rockstar doesn't support mods then you're on your own. If it's a game client issue then you may have better luck actually contacting them. I don't get it. When something breaks you want the devs to fix it but you don't want them to update the game? How are they supposed to fix anything without updating it? What about when new operating systems, hardware, or driver updates come out? Do you not want them to support those either? If you invest in something or purchase a license for it I for one would expect them to update it for the lifetime of the product (if it's still in their earnings portfolio at minimum) or for my lifetime--whichever comes first. Especially here on Steam but what do I know I'm just a silly old school kind of guy with some notions about providing actual customer service and value with integrity (or some form of it).

That is a different topic alltogether. Of course people want what you described and it is needed. But If there are no new hardwares and the game is fine, then there is no need to change anything. What you say is how I feel too, and what was said before is completely compatible with it.

But let's not start a argument that does not belong here, shall we? :)

Agreed, but the game is very clearly not fine. There is a bug that prevents the game from loading that people have been complaining about for 4 years. Online crashes constantly. Hackers/modders mess with Online constantly.

Plus there are the usual minor bugs, but I can live with those rather than risk an update breaking more things.

yeah thats the thing it aint working or they wouldn'y have updated it lol
