After your most recent crash, look for the 3 files in the C:/Documents/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2/Settings, folder .. which should be named ..
sga_win32_60_final_init.d3d12PipelineCacheWindows
sga_win32_60_final_init.d3d12WarmupCacheWindows
sga_win32_60_final_init.pipelineMarkerFile
If you've previously deleted these as part of any suggestion to help fix this issue, don't worry, start the game again and play it .. keep playing until the game crashes again.
Go to the Settings folder and change all the above named files to READ ONLY.
The first file in my list maxed out at 45mb .. and making it READ ONLY ensures it cannot go beyond that, and for whatever reason, apparently cause the GFX crash.
Like I say, for me, so far so good .. I hope this helps :)
Everything was going fine until I tried to interact with the Stewing Pot in my camp.
Then crash.
I don't think it was the old 'bloat' problem with the SGA files, this is something else, as I could interact fine with other dynamic objects and objects with menus, such as my horse or the normal campfire, to make coffee.
No, this crash only occured .. and has happened twice now, so I'm forcing the game to restart in 'Safe Mode' .. when I interacted with the camp Stew Pot.
