RDR2 won't launch at all.
I've just re downloaded rdr2 again and every time I go to open it it it says it's running, the rock-star launcher will open but then it just shuts down and the steam button turns green again and it's happened over and over even after I verified the game files and uninstalled/reinstalled the rock star launcher, and my computer graphics are up to date along with having enough space or it. What's wrong?

happened to me as well. tried everything and nothing worked, i went as far as resetting my pc to factory settings and nothing worked so i suppose is something to do with rockstar's crappy servers

i had to continuously open the rockstar launcher and close it in task manager, restarted my pc two times in a row and its worked ever since, your results may vary but its what worked for me, goodluck.
Could be the vulkan files

I'm experiencing the same. It started happening after an AMD driver update, and I couldn't find a solution (I tried rolling back drivers, uninstalling game, uninstalling R* launcher.. Nothing helped). I'm at work now, but found some suggestions from old posts that exactly match this problem description; apparently disabling the integrated GPU on your CPU fixes it. I'm going to try that when I get home later.

Will do! Another post I just read suggested this was caused by a Windows update, rather than an AMD driver update. But the symptom sounds the same. I'll try it tonight.

It works for me. I just disabled the Integrated Graphics from Device Manager, rebooted the PC, and now it works. When I launch it, it tells me that my graphics driver is out of date (it isn't, it's the absolute latest one), but it launches just fine!
