Game SERIOUSLY needs anti-cheat
I was grinding some random stuff with some friends in RDO, next thing I know we get teleported and this man starts leaking my friends address in public vc. (Not really his address, but the address that his internet server was located at, which was still fairly near him) You can all do this through some random mod right?

Didn't mention this, but he got into our Red Dead's process, and played music through the game itself, not using vc.

ive been playing RDO since its release on PC. unfortunately man, the devs have never cared about this game in lieu of GTA. Not just GTA 6, theyve neglected this game long before.

sad to say, but welcome to RDO. praying for anticheat but its unlikely

+1 This game is in HORRIBLE NEED of some kind of anti-cheat.

Sadly, I share Dr. Ghost's skepticism that Rockstar will ever effectively address this problem. :(

it seriously ruin the game expeirence for me, as this being one of the perfect games to roleplay in for a bit and to grind, a bit but hackers doing gold cheats and so on just its annoying

It kind of has an anti cheat system on what rockstar games support told me but only goes after people who use free cheat engines like wemod for example and people who use solo session apps like rockstar purger manager app, what I notice is that their anti cheat system doesn't detect that paid mod menu everyone is getting killed by, they need to upgrade their anti cheat system also go after sites that effect their games, hail bungie went after sites that effect halo destiny.

Ah yes, some years ago i also played this "game"...good memorise tbh. Who ever gave it the actual 2023 LOL award...OH WELL! Who ever thought that was a good idea either payed valve GOOD for that, hacked into the votes or people did it as meme. In any case: the devs dont care a bit. literally not ONE bit - which is really sad because in its core, RDR2(online) IS a great game but yea, if you guys are fairly new. better refund it as long as you can, trust. me.
