Problems with Bounty Hunting

Sorry if this is a repeat, I didn't see any posts but I'm sure there is one out there. Is anyone else having problems with bounty hunting maps? For the last few weeks when I try to do a bounty, the bounty board grays out but I never see the mission, no guide to the location and no location shows up on the map. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RDR2 a couple times, blown out files after the uninstall but no luck. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to fix it? I spend a good deal of time chasing bounty's, and this is cutting into the game for me.

i have this same issue from time to time, it actually just happened today. I think it's a sign that there's a hacker in your lobby. Just change lobbies and see if it helps. no need to uninstall. Heck most of the problems with RDO is because of hackers i surmise. I heard there's going to be an update this February. so we gotta rig it anyway we can until then. Also, make your horse flee before going into stables if you're having the stable glitch also it's not 100% but it does work.

Thanks for the information. I have been hit a few times by "hackers" carry me off somewhere, kill me without even having a chance to fight back, that sort of thing. Gonna try a different lobby and change my PW see if that helps.

Thanks for the help folks, that did work. I would really be interested in knowing how someone can hack my game when I have the "anti cheat" running from Rock star. I really like the game but I have to wonder if its worth the effort. The Rock star anti cheat causes problems for some of my other games, we'll see how this goes.

RDO Playlist changes each month ARE NOT updates.

It's quite simple fact that the OP's issue is a bugged session. This is what happens when you play Public Sessions. Changing the session won't change anything. You need to exit the game, then relaunch it. Then play private session or play a session with friends, where no cheaters are present. Their mod menu is screwing with other peoples missions like Trader, Moonshine, Bounty; etc.

Ignore me? Why, because i've been playing almost hacker free and stable glitch free by joining different servers when hacking and glitching starts happening? Instead of me crying and allowing hackers ruin my session i just leave immediately lol it works for me. Only thing is i'm a lone wolf with no friends. P.s fleeing your horse and wait about 15 seconds and walk into the stable helps with the stable glitch not changing servers (Just to make that clear also) I got that from a person that was told by R* technical support and it works for me. But this random person wants you to ignore me? He reminds me of the hackers, they do things for no reason but to troll

Key words "Private Session and Sometimes" Of course private sessions are 100% better but all of us that are lone wolves already, we can avoid people and still enjoy public and no one said changing sessions work 100% everytime. Anyways I believe this RDO Update BS when I see it.
So far YouTuber idiots been saying this for years yet no updates in sight since 2021 regarding RDO stuff. If there is a playlist change for February in RDO, yea that's normal, and will happen, but that's NOT any kind of an update.
