2024 and this is still best looking game out there
The question everyone asking. Just imagine what rockstar can do with GTA 6 ?

They wont do ♥♥♥♥ with GTA 6 cause it will be set on modern day US where 80% of the location will be concrete jungle Buildings, dirty road, messy footpaths and crap

The reason rdr 2 looks so good cause of natural landscapes. GTA 6 has no room for that. It will at best will look slightly better than GTA 5 and prolly feature some amazing physics but still wont be as good looking like RDR 2.

Mark my word. Only game could beat RDR2's beauty will be RDR3.

GTA6 will still look pure and amazing, why? There's more vibrant and variety of colours. Whether RDR2 is mostly nature, which is complex in a single colour.

Both games will have its beauty in two different ways as they are set in different eras and settings.

Boycott GTA 6 until they address the issues with RDO.

You can't ever do that. Even if all rdr2 fans boycott GTA 5 it will still sell 100 million copies ( minus the 50 million rdr 2 player's )

This might be true.. I know for a fact that I wont be jumping on the GTA 6 bandwagon again. The game is a lake that is a mile wide and an inch deep.
If only we can just play it like any other game ....like um...Baldurs Gate 3, when we press "Play" on our steam library, yea it might be awesome. :steammocking:

GTA6 is just GTA Online reskin. You won't see any new stuff.

I’m hoping we see secure dedicated servers and a better anti-cheat system. :/

Gta vi is going to look pretty good but probably not better than rdr2 and there is probably going to be even less mechanics in it then gta v

I think the part which gonna look really good is the Swampy area and oceans shown on the trailer

But it doesn't look really good in city areas which will probably be 50% of the map.

GTA was never known for beautiful btw

GTA San Andreas was very ugly for its time ( compared to half life 2 )

GTA 4 was depressing just like how new York city looks lol

GTA 5 looks decent but there were many games who looked better which came same year or looked dated very fast

Compared that to RDR2, it's been 5 years and there are barely any open world game which can claim it's looks better or Equal

Love the fan boys out here creaming themselves over the fact 6 will look just mind-blowing. Take a look at the GTA V initial trailers vs what we got. Even RDR2. The trailers always look better. And more than one former rockstar dev have already came out and said the graphical jump will be smaller than it was going from IV to V. Which was substantial, but nowhere near as much improvement as from SA to IV. We're approaching the limit of what computer hardware is capable with current known physics. Everyone thinks things always just naturally get better and better, blindly ignoring the fact that EVERYTHING has a limit. And current CPU/GPU's are approaching that hardware limit. Doesn't matter what game engine's coding is capable of, if the hardware physically cannot improve anymore than it can currently. Unless some freakishly smart scientist discovers a way to literally alter the speed of protons, photons, neurons, and electrons or makes a world-changing physics discovery unknown to us, you need to accept the fact that games are going to start hitting a ceiling very soon, and graphical improvements will (and already are) becoming less and less noticeable. Sure, GTA 6 will probably look better than GTA 5 does currently.....about as much better as the GTA V expanded and enhanced looks compared to the original version. And even if you want to argue that "the current GTA is WAAAAY better than the released version!!!" remember that the released version was 720p @ 30 FPS released for 2-generations-old hardware. They "simply" bumped the scaling up to 4k and made some "minor" tweaks. Even running the original port of GTA on a current PC with a 4k monitor and good CPU/GPU looks substantially better than the original trailers we saw, recorded on a PS3.

We've also been warned by those same devs that alot of folks with high expectations will likely be "disappointed". I tend to agree with this. Even watching the GTA 6 trailer, sure, it looks great.....but there are simple graphical mods you can download for GTA 5 that look BETTER and more realistic than the GTA 6 trailer.

I won't mind at all if GTA 6 visual looks same level as RDR2. Cause RDR 2 is still best looking game out there

But I will be satisfied if they make it really immersive. Intellegent and Realistic life cycle of NPCs, better physics, better driving, wanted system, you can enter any house/club/shop you want, you can do more stuff than ever.

Graphics is just half of the immersion really. The other half relies on gameplay and attention to details. I am hoping they will give the most detailed GTA ever

Its nice looking for sure.. but better then Horizon FB? I think not, especially the facial animations, or even Last of Us Part 1. Helldrivers prolly also better but not played that one.

Eh, Helldivers II has good graphics, but I wouldn't say it's any better than Red Dead Redemption 2.

When it comes to graphics I got no complaints; this game looks gorgeous! :D

When it comes to online multiplayer; there's so many cheaters that it's barely playable. o_O

With GTA6 I'm worried Rockstar's gonna put all their attention in making the game look even prettier, while completely ignoring the rampant cheating problem their PC online worlds have. :/

Heck, I'd love to see GTA6 have cross-play so folks can play with their friends on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, but that's basically impossible if Rockstar can't get a handle on the rampant cheating on PC. @_@
