How to know if LML mods are working?
Recently I only installed a Perfect TAA mod into LML and it seems like it was working. Even now, LML tells me when I'm in game that it's currently connected and the mod is enabled. But I had gone into the LML config at one point to change "Logfile=2 to 0. After that, it seems like the TAA fix wasn't working. I changed it back to 2.

I even reinstalled LML and the ASI mod loader dll. It still seems like the TAA fix isn't applying. Is there any "sample" mod that's simply supposed to show a visual indicator in game that the mod loader is working and a mod is being applied? Maybe I just don't notice the difference as much.

I also have a 165 Hz monitor and G-Sync is enabled if that matters. I actually have the FPS uncapped so not sure if the "motion blur" from moving the camera hides the improvement in TAA. I mean, how does one differ regular motion blur from high refresh rate and FPS and TAA blur that is a result of aggressive TAA?

For me, the difference was noticable in that when I would gallop around on my horse, I noticed that the grass/foliage and dirt textures would be clear even as I'm moving around. But now they seem to blur and I don't know if that's motion blur or TAA blur. (I have motion blur turned off in settings).

Use the Rampage Trainer and look with there; it will show you all your active mods as a means to double check such a thing.

Does the trainer require ScriptHook though? As I don't have that installed. Only LML and ASI loader.

You need the ScriptHook anyways for most Mods to ever work. So IDK why you'd be without it.

ASI Loader by itself is not a ScriptHook. Basically both are required.

I mean, LML works just fine with Alexander Blade's "version.dll" file, which is one of the ScriptHook files. Just not THE ScriptHook2.0 that's used for trainers and script mods. In my case, I'm only using TAA mod, which only asked for LML and ASI loader. And in this case, I use "version.dll" to load any mods that ask for it. Hence why LML works.

I'm well aware that the dev behind ScriptHook for RDR2 stopped developing it though a while back. So I'm not sure which version right now, and on what site, is safe, legit, and most up to date. Either way, Perfect TAA doesn't ask for it. It only modifies the system settings and visualsettings.dat files. I might need ScriptHook for the trainer, but not the mod itself.

Honestly, the problem for me is that LML is NOT generating a log file to indicate whether a mod is being loaded or not. Or that LML is even being loaded in-game. Which I'm pretty sure it's SUPPOSED to do if it's actually working.

Sort your RDR2 folder by Type as a means to sort all Files by Type.
Look for .LOG files in the game folder.

But how?
An easier way is through the logs that get created by the ScriptHook within your RDR2 game folder. As the logs will show these things regarding mods being loaded and such.
LML has example mods to show that it is working. There should be a few somewhere in there. If you see the font change, then that means the mod works.
