but at chapter 2 you can fully unlock the map if you want to but not new austin or blackwater areas
and hunt for some pelts
This is a good time to take a long pause and if you want, go do other things.
I explored the entire map for the most part before even starting Chapter 3, as well as going around and getting treasure maps and also going to areas that don't require a map and grabbing up the various gold bars.
Free roaming around as Arthur in Story Mode while avoiding story missions really isn't all that much fun, unless you mod the game.
I'm really not interested in joining an RDR2 server with a bunch of "possibly" toxic players, is there a single player version? Free roaming around as arthur not being fun is a subjective viewpoint but I've been wanting to do that since I watched Gopher's playthru.
Also the character creation is awful in RDO. The face is always ugly and unreal looking.
Can I install RDR2 mods with Vortex?
You don't need a bunch of mods really.
But I can recommend a few good ones if you like.
RDR2 is just you, there is no online when playing story mode.
Online mode is a seperate game within RDR2; aka Online Mode / RDO.
Story Mode = Single Player.
