Game crashing constantly
I just bought the game. On epic not on here because it was cheaper on there. But the game was working perfectly until the last 2 missions of episode 1. The hunting mission, then the train robbery mission. My game crashed at least 5 times for each of those missions. I finally managed to get past them. So I was hoping the crashes were over. So I've been going to valentine to try and start a new mission. When I do that I'll get a few minutes into that mission and my game will crash again. All in all my game has crashed at least 30 times and it's really annoying because I want to play the freaking game I paid for.

The game isn't giving me an error it's just acting like the game was closed all together. I've tried lowering my graphics settings, changing from vulkan to dx12, going from full screen to full screen boarderless. Nothing I do is stopping these crashes.

My pc is older but I'm playing a ton of games that are newer than RDR2 and I've never had this issue on any of them so it's not my pc at all. But if it matters my pc is a ryzen 1600x, gtx 1070 ti, and 32gb of ddr4.

If anyone knows how to stop this game from crashing I'd appreciate it. I was enjoying the game until my game started crashing every few minutes.

Look, it's really simple. Either your computer isn't up to running the game or you are unable to configure said computer to run the game. Rather than complain to a community that is unlikely to resolve the issue, take that computer to a trustworthy computer diagnostic tech and explain the problem, pay them for their expertise.

Windows 10 and I'm using 1920x1080 for this game but after crashes it occasionally reverts to my ultrawides native resolution of 3440x1440.

I assure you my computer isn't the problem. My pc runs newer and more demanding games without any issues like battlefield 2042, call of duty modern warfare III, Cyberpunk 2077, and forza horizon 5. None of which crash to the desktop like this game does. If it was just my pc I wouldn't be seeing other people posting the same thing on here and reddit.

All I can tell you is, when I had a problem, I paid a small company to resolve an issue that was beyond my skill set. It was completely within settings. I have not had a problem in two years. Best of luck to you.
