Report a translation problem
I don't even know how this happens to people. Like why were you even trying to go up that way. Your way-point is in the opposite direction. When you set a way-point and the radar tries to direct you with a dotted line, ignore this. This is because the GPS doesn't know how to direct you as there is no road type of path nearby, so use the large map to find that yourself.
Save your game manually more often, then you can simply load up previous save if something like this happens.
