Problem with minimum ram requirements when my computer meets them (Ubuntu OS)

When i was executing rockstar launcher, appears a message say "Not meet the minimum memory (RAM) requirements. If you continue the game it may have execution problems". My pc have 8 GB Ram, ENVIDIA-DRIVER-535, ryzen 5

well it does state clearly min 12gb ram. 8gb does not meet the min requirements.

If you have a tower pc I'd reccomend the Vengance brand RAM as its good bang for your buck I've found. Granted take what I say here with a grain of salt as I am on my first custom tower PC having graduated from gaming laptops only a year ago and on that topic if you have a laptop welll.


You're screwed as the Ram and GPU of those things are always soldered into the motherboard, you'd have to buy a new laptop, and you wonder why we have so much e-waste?

8Gb does meet the minimum requirements according to R*'s website bud. The requirements on the Steam page have always been wrong for this game.

To the TC - just press OK and run the game anyway. It will be fine.

If you haven't done it lately, check RAM prices, I've seen 16GB kits on Amazon for silly money compared to when I built in 2019.
