Most crashes are caused by modders, mainly error FFFFFF.
I tried playing over the weekend and the same thing happened to me.
Cheaters seem to be causing it. The only solution is to use a third party method to create a private session.
Well, that or play the game on console (where cheating isn’t a problem), or just play something else. Rockstar badly needs to step in and address this, but they’re probably too busy with GTA6. :(
Hmm cause there is no one at the helm to care or look after RDO. They all working on GTA6.
Play Private Session, problem solved.
I mean, the “Stable Bug” has got to be getting close to celebrating its first anniversary, or has it been over a year now?
It's not really a big deal if you learn the simple work-around. I can count on one hand how many times the game has crashed since I started using the Private Session method back in 2021. But that particular time, til around Jan 2022 I was just testing Private Session and would to back to Public Session every so often. Now I refuse to use Public Sessions for over 1 year now and I have had plenty of fun in there. Not having random crashes and BS happen because of cheaters is nice. Too bad the public sessions aren't that wa anymore
did you find some solution?
Wipe GPU Cahe here:
%LocalAppData% >
AMD or NVIDIA folder
If using NVIDIA GPU set the power to prefer max and set shader cache to unlimited
I had the same thing, driving me nuts on a super stable known-good uberbox, no lack of resources.
Fix is in below thread, switch from Vulkan to DirectX 12 in graphics settings:

Curious then, what's your full PC Specs?
If any RTX GPU, then Vulkan should be more stable.
