My PC does't meet Rockstar's minimum system requirements. Very funny, Rockstar / CRASH Online GAME
Hmmm... I bought the game, but I still can’t play it. Every 5-10 minutes the game crashes to the desktop or with the error "Unknow error FFFFFFFF". In the end, my patience ran out and I turned to the developer. And what do you think? I was offered to change DX12 to Vulkan first! Which, of course, I already did without them a long time ago. Next, “oh great Rockstar” suggested that I turn my PC into a device exclusively for playing RDO. Because they suggested that I turn everything off! services other than the Rockstar service and, accordingly, nothing except RDO no longer worked. And the most amazing thing is that they seriously invite people to do this. When the Steam service is disabled, the game does not even start, of course. In short, I was simply shocked. Then, on some 7th or 8th message, they again suggested that I do what they suggested at the very beginning - change Direct X to Volcano. And then my patience ran out and I told them everything I thought about them. We must pay tribute, they answer without emotion, but it is also useless how calmly it is. In general, when it became clear that there was nothing more to “change” and they advised me everything they could and everything that I had already found on the Internet, GREAT ROCKSTAR SUPPORT stated that my PC simply did not meet the recommended requirements for their GREAT GAME. Well, this, of course, is just funny. If anyone is interested, then I can provide everything that these *drags wrote to me, but I want to show the requirements here and maybe someone here will tell how my PC is similar to the requirements that Rockstar imposes to run its game.

ROCKSTAR requirements:

Minimum specifications:

Operating system: Windows 10 – обновление за апрель 2018 г. (v1803).
CPU: Intel ® i5-2500K ™/AMD FX-6300
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2 GB/AMD Radeon 9 R 280 3 GB
HDD: 150 GB
Sound: Совместима с DirectX

Recommended Specifications:

Operating system: Windows 10 – обновление за апрель 2018 г. (v1803).
CPU: INTE® ™ i7-4770K/AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
RAM: 12 GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 4 GB
HDD: 150 GB
Sound: Совместима с DirectX

So we can help with basic troubleshooting, however we cannot guarantee that the game will run due to it not meeting the above requirements.

My PC specs:

Operating system: Windows 11 Pro, 22H2, 22621.2861
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2666 v3 @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
HDD: 953,85 GB
Sound: Совместима с DirectX

And, yes, I was told that I need to use a monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate. Otherwise there will be problems.

This is the kind of support Rockstar Games has. This is the attitude towards players, clients, buyers, if you like. This is arbitrariness and I believe that for such an attitude towards the person who bought their craft, in an amicable way, they should be punished with such a large ruble. But no one will do this, of course. And it's very, very unfortunate.....

Friends, if anyone has a positive experience with this PC configuration, then I would be grateful for any recommendations. The game crashes constantly. 3-5-10 minutes after the start of the game. Tough. It is, of course, simply impossible to play this. All progress is lost and all tasks must be started from the beginning.

I dunno man. I hope you find an answer. Your processor is newer than their recommended min spec, and I admit, I had to look it up, looks beefy enough to run RDO. But it doesn't. I suspect being a server processor has something to do with it, but not sure why.

Only thing I can suggest you have probably already tried, you know usual stuff like updating your drivers and making sure no conflicts and so on. Might check your Power Supply. Virus scan, you know garbage like that.

You could also try this program. Download it and boot your machine in safe mode. Then run it. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows-repair-all-in-one/ I have been using it for ten years now, and it has fixed some problems.

Only other thing I can recommend is to slick your machine and do a fresh install of Windows. You probably don't want to do that, but that is all I got.

Good Luck!

Thanks bro. Yes, you're right, I tried everything possible. I have no desire to reinstall the system or make it a system exclusively for playing RDO. And on principle I don’t want to do this. Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it. Yes, this processor is quite old, but quite powerful and in all modern projects it works at half capacity) Frankly speaking, I very much doubt that RDO cannot work with my processor, because this is the only game with which I have such problems. All other games launch and play without any crashes to the desktop. Things like that, bro. Good luck and thanks again.

I want to add. The story, as I understand it, ended when I asked Rockstar Games technical support a question. I showed support my system configuration files and asked which component of my system was not suitable for playing Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. What exactly is the weak link in my PC and what component causes the game to crash. Rockstar Games customer support ignored my question. They just didn't answer me. I believe this happens in all cases when support understands that it cannot help. Technical support blames the bugs of an unfinished project on the user’s equipment. That's what's happening here. They just take our money, give it to a buggy, glitchy craft that the developers themselves can’t figure out, then they take our money and put students in tech support with basic instructions for answering those who want to get some kind of support for their hard-earned money. The developers themselves, obviously, do not plan to decide anything. Money flows like a river, the project is so well known that it doesn’t even need any advertising. That's what's happening here. They collect our money and go spend it. And we sit here and create similar topics on forums and write to useless support. I'm angry. I am disappointed in this company and I will tell everyone what is happening here.
