I tried every graphics settings and changes network and did clear temp files and verified my installation files , updated my graphics card drivers and run as administrator too.
It crashes without any message in Online only.
If you are interested in knowing how to create a private session but make it public at the same time for you and your friends, you should do this: Task Manager > Performance > Open the Resource Monitor (lower left corner) > Network > RDR2.exe (right click and suspend) > After 5/10s RDR2.exe (right click and resume).
I had made a workaround sheet on the Red Dead Online Discord server, pasting the fixes which you can try:
Q: Crashing randomly and stuttering.
-> Unlink Documents from OneDrive & stop syncing files inside Documents\Rockstar Games. Consider uninstalling this app.
-> Delete all files named with the prefix sga_ located inside Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings.
-> Clear the Temp folder (%temp%).
-> Delete DirectX Shader Cache via Disk Cleanup.
-> Delete Shader Cache stored by Steam inside steamapps\shadercache\1174180 or 1404210.
-> Switch to Vulkan.
-> Clean re-install GPU drivers (use DDU if possible) or Roll-back to a previous version of the driver.
-> Vulkan & Steam users: Enable Shader Pre-Caching under (general) Steam Settings.
Q: ERR_GFX_STATE.
-> Try the above steps. ^
-> Revert any overclocking done to hardware, disable XMP.
-> Switch the API under Advanced Graphics settings.
Q: ERR_GFX_INIT.
-> Re-install GPU drivers (Use DDU).
Q: ERR_GFX_D3D_SWAPCHAIN_ALLOC_2.
-> Update Windows 10/11 to the latest build.
Q: ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM.
-> Disable overlays from Steam, RivaTuner, Discord, etc.
-> Lower some of the graphics settings; even if it's under suggested limits.
Q: ERR_MEM_VIRTUAL_OUT_OF_MEMORY.
-> Clear space in your C drive and the drive where your game is installed.
-> Let Windows manage paging for your drives.
Thanks for the information, I have tried everything except the errors you mention, since no errors appear, it just closes out of nowhere and that's it. I guess we'll have to wait for them to fix it, because it's happening to a lot of people these days, even my friends, it's unplayable. It makes me angry because the game looks great and has a very good gameplay and despite this error they are losing many users and receiving criticism.
Any session changes are unstable at the moment when it tries to happen behind the scenes - primarily the session host changing cause of quitting the game or can also be unstable P2P connectivity.
Playing in a solo session using startup file will effectively minimize this drastically since you'll always end up in a solo session and since that session hop is successful, the FFFFF error will be bypassed. i.e. game will not crash as compared to being in a public lobby.
