2 Accounts under same email, new account overwrites old one. How do i fix this?
As the title says, I accidentally created a new account using the same email as the old one because I forgot my password and R* didn't send a password reset email to this email. I thought it would prevent me from doing so but as it turns out it did create a new account under the same email and now i cannot play this game because it's linked to my old account. Is there any solution to this problem?

You can't use the same email on 2 social club accounts (certainly hasn't worked every time I have attempted it for testing reasons). Chances are your old social club account already had the email changed for 'reasons' (something crazy common since June 2023) before you pumped out a new one.

Dig through your email, looking for an old email/filtered/spam from R* saying the email on the social club account changed. It might be in another language - translated it. There is a link in it to let you recover your old account. However, you've used your old email on an account now - so for that recovery link to work - you need to 'change' your old email on teh new account to free it up for the old account. If that doesn't pan out ---

Lots of info /more details here regarding this/variations of getting this fixed, etc -

And 'cause this steam account also owns gta5 (where this nonsense is also happening)-

Recover the old account. The path can be easy, or a real pain.
