Is there any way to only download the Online mode without the main part of the game?

I just want to download the Online mode to play with my friends, because the entire game is over 100 GB, I'd prefer to not download the singleplayer content. I know there's the Red Dead Online 20 dollar purchase on steam, but i already own the full red dead 2 game. Is there any sorta file shenanigans or options I can opt into to remove the singleplayer section of the game so i can save my poor poor stuffed to the brim external harddrive?

They're both the same file size, 150+ GB, all they do is lock the story mode content if you buy the online-only game, sorry to say.

Another external 1TB drive is around $50 or so now, and it would solve your space issue for any other games as well, might be worth it . . .
