Anyone else having issues starting resupply missions?

It did this every so often before but since that 140mb update it just doesn't do anything at all. When my trading table runs out out of supplies I can't start a mission to get more, I initiate it, it acts like it's going to, then I walk away from the table and it says I'm on a mission despite nothing happening. It also doesn't let me start a new one. I relogged and tried 4 times with the same exact result every single time. Guess I can't play trader role anymore, thanks Rockstar you're a real pal.

Edit: Found a fix, you just have to make your game start in a private session. Fixed every unstable thing about the Online tbh. Sometimes I used to have great sessions and wondered why, turns out I was alone. The forced online lobbies are ruining the game and Rockstar just doesn't want to fix it. So yeah, just play solo sessions and the hackers can't ruin everything about the online gameplay.

this problem happened once or twice back then, it's R*'s problem not ours . Hope they realize this problem soon.

This is what I got from R* Support, literally nothing useful and acting like its on my end when theres tons of other people experiencing this:

Reset your network router

yeah hacker/mod user can prevent u from doing that if being nasty in session u in won't let cripps work treat u like u offline or in a posses even thoe u not that will make cripps not work

Also it will help to go into the in-game Settings > Graphics and run the Benchmark a couple of times to ensure the game itself is stable on your system. Just to rule out the game randomly crashing because of your system config and/or graphics settings. Helps to monitor CPU & GPU Temps as well to help ensure you don't have a thermal-throttle issue in-play that's causing the game to randomly crash.

true true my rig fine 45-60fps in 4k mode about 30% cpu and like 80% gpu it water cooled so temp never go over 30-40c on them and i running 32gb ram

RDO has had about 3 updates since the Xmas Snow has started in-game and each update they did to the RDO on their end, I have to keep deleting the player file to fix metal detector not working.

At the risk of appearing like a complete old fool; I cannot for the life of me find this "Player" file?

yes i did removed player file. many thanks for trying to help. i only have problem with online mode, im playing story mode but dont have any problem like crash or thermal-throttle. so right now im just play online mode with other roles or mission that i dont have problem.

Some games do not work properly when playing online from the same IP#

I've been there, done that. What I do is pay for 2 ISPs so we each can be separated and be able to play together within the same games together.

Rockstar Games do not have "servers" they work via Peer-2-Peer.

One of the players in an Online Session, whether it be GTA-Online or RDO; one of those players PC is the Host.

You just keep a sync with the Rockstar SocialClub services which handles the backend of how the online services for said game functions.

Yeah, it's strange. I have a 4090 laptop and she plays off my 3090 rig I've tried it in a solo session at work too, and my work network is unlocked 800 mb down and 500 up. It is what it is? I guess. Is this something that propagates around their winter updates? I never had this issue before because I've been playing RDO on and off for a long time on every other platform.

Kudos to everyone taking their time on this. Sucks we got screwed. Dropped in at least 12 hours before this started happening.

Had time to mess with it just now and just noticed the paste.bin solution for creating the private lobby and it worked on the first try. I'll update if it persists. I was totally ignorant of that solution. Cheers.

There is the word "password" in the file at the very end, remove that, press enter to drop down to next line, then enter what will be your private session password. DO NOT leave the word password as the actual password, or you may run into other players.

IDK why people keep saying "Since the update"
Game hasn't had an update since Sep 2022.
All it ever updates is the rockstar launcher, nothing to do with game itself.

becuse you need learn your definitions , an update means to bring it up to date
it does not mean that it have to have new content
you can also call it the newest download to x-mas settings
what you act describe as update is in fact DLC - meaning downloadeble "additional" content for an already relaesed video game, that it mostly comes (always in online game) with an update don't mean that's all it is like square is always a trapezia but not all trapezia are squares
