Anyone else having issues starting resupply missions?

It did this every so often before but since that 140mb update it just doesn't do anything at all. When my trading table runs out out of supplies I can't start a mission to get more, I initiate it, it acts like it's going to, then I walk away from the table and it says I'm on a mission despite nothing happening. It also doesn't let me start a new one. I relogged and tried 4 times with the same exact result every single time. Guess I can't play trader role anymore, thanks Rockstar you're a real pal.

Edit: Found a fix, you just have to make your game start in a private session. Fixed every unstable thing about the Online tbh. Sometimes I used to have great sessions and wondered why, turns out I was alone. The forced online lobbies are ruining the game and Rockstar just doesn't want to fix it. So yeah, just play solo sessions and the hackers can't ruin everything about the online gameplay.

I had the same thing happen with the Moonshine deliveries, the delivery wagon would not appear. I did a bunch of things, among them exiting the Nvidia interface and turning off Geforce experience, I think that did the trick for me.

Next problem to solve is my char freezing behind the bar trying to serve Moonshine to the Posse. It works when solo, but in a Posse it freezes the game solid, I have to alt/tab/delete and exit the game there.

Do a move of your Camp and see if this fixes it.

If you are playing in public sessions, well there you go, stop doing that.

IDK why people keep saying "Since the update"
Game hasn't had an update since Sep 2022.
All it ever updates is the rockstar launcher, nothing to do with game itself.

this problem just happened 3-4 days ago until now still can't do anything :(

Then go to the RDR2 folder in Documents > Rockstar Games
and delete the PLAYER file. That should fix it, as we have to do this often to fix the bug regarding the collector role (metal detector and collector maps not working)

it does do little updates from what ive seen though, they added snow into the game and holiday updates so i don't think it's entirely true that all it does is update the launcher. plus a few other things here and there.

While its nothing big it's still something.

Those are on Online / SocialClub and you see those when you play RDO. Nothing to do with updates to your local game files. Even updates on the in-game menu for RDO that is just web cache basically is all that is.

I've been having these issues with all my free roam missions, it started with trading. My partner and I have two PC's and I we play together, her character is starting everything normally. When I start a trading mission with her in my posse I see my character just standing there in front of Cripps. I'm ( or we're ) not dropping out. I stay in the posse, and visible in the session for over 10 minutes ( I let it sit for the hell of it while I watched her play ). I tried everything, delete rockstar launcher, the local profile cache, I reverified the files ect... I think this is an issue on their end. Maybe they have failing hard drives in their servers we're trying to ping and it isn't send us the data lol

Some games do not work properly when playing online from the same IP#

I've been there, done that. What I do is pay for 2 ISPs so we each can be separated and be able to play together within the same games together.

Rockstar Games do not have "servers" they work via Peer-2-Peer.

One of the players in an Online Session, whether it be GTA-Online or RDO; one of those players PC is the Host.

You just keep a sync with the Rockstar SocialClub services which handles the backend of how the online services for said game functions.

Buy supplies and change session for them to arrive immediately. Saves time over couple bucks saved.

I only do Supply Missions when its a Daily Challenge, otherwise forget it, takes too long and sometimes Cripps want you to bring back Oil and whenever you have to grab that, always a chance it's going to get a few bullet holes in it and lose liquid, or explode.

Yes me too. Glad to hear it isn't just me. Started happening a few days ago in the middle of a play session. I get the pre-mission dialog but the mission never starts. If trying to sell I'm stuck at a black screen with loading icon in bottom right corner. If I let it sit a really, really, long time I will eventually get a "unable to connect to rockstar game services at this time 0x99691337" error. Resupply missions and sometimes even contact missions I get dropped back on the map but the mission never starts.

I've tried everything I can find recommended online. Moving camp, deleting profile in social club launcher, deleting my PLAYER file, and verifying integrity of games files. Still can't find a workaround.

EDIT: I finally was able to get a sell mission to work!!!! I think I was deleting the player file wrong and steam was replacing it with a cloud version of the same corrupted file. This time when steam brought up the sync issue I made sure to select the no file option to force the file to replaced by the game not from the steam cloud.

RDO has had about 3 updates since the Xmas Snow has started in-game and each update they did to the RDO on their end, I have to keep deleting the player file to fix metal detector not working.

nvm, it works with some mission only like moonshine but still cant do trader mission , delivery goods

i wil just stop play this role for a while and wish this problem will get fix next patch. :(
