Random events are poorly designed.
So there are a lot of random events and stuff and honestly they are pretty bad. All the time when u explore open world in a very chill manner and doing it slow all the time u hear someone scream or something happening which is extremely unrealistic. its like there is no chill time in this game and stuff happens too frequently. a gimmicky random event approach where u need to get someone from point A to B or to save someone or to kill a bunch of folk. these random events are pretty boring and some are forced, meaning that if u know a certain character is not a good guy killing them won't make it permanent and they'll spawn again and it devalues choices and actions taken by the player. then there is also this repetitive random event where u need to save certain generic npcs from something and then later when u come back into the town they'll tell u that u can buy some gun in a shop for free. only its not one generic npc, its multiple and all offer the same service. its unrealistic and feels very forced, goes against the immersion and all these random events feel like a filler tbh.

Tighty-Whitey_pro90's claim that random events are poorly designed
is yet another False Claim.

Here is why;

Random events in RDR2 add variety, immersion, and unpredictability to the game world.

They also provide opportunities for the player to interact with different characters, situations, and outcomes, as well as to influence their honor rating and obtain rewards.

Here are some reasons why random events are well-designed in RDR2:

• Variety: Random events are diverse and numerous, ranging from encounters with rival gangs, bounty hunters, lawmen, outlaws, prisoners, animals, and civilians, to events involving hunting, racing, dueling, gambling, robbing, rescuing, and more.

There are over 200 random events in the game, each with different variations and possibilities. This means that the player will rarely experience the same event twice, and will always have something new and interesting to discover and explore.

• Immersion: Random events are integrated seamlessly into the game world, and are influenced by factors such as location, time, weather, and story progression.

For example, the player may encounter different gangs depending on the region they are in, or different animals depending on the time of day and the weather.

Random events also reflect the historical and cultural context of the game, such as the tensions between the Native Americans and the settlers, the rise of industrialization and urbanization, and the decline of the Wild West era.

Random events make the game world feel alive and dynamic, and create a sense of realism and authenticity.

• Unpredictability: Random events are not scripted or predetermined, but rather occur randomly and spontaneously as the player travels the world.

This means that the player cannot anticipate or plan for them, and must react accordingly to the situation at hand.

Random events also have different outcomes depending on the player’s choices and actions, such as whether they help, ignore, or harm the characters they encounter, or whether they succeed or fail in their tasks.

Random events add an element of surprise and challenge to the game, and make each playthrough unique and memorable.

Let's be clear....

Opinions do NOT exist in RDR2.

ur claims are incorrect, opinion has nothing to do with it when it comes to this game.

Only Claims...

And yes, some are false.

you are attempting to describe the nature of existing events in rdr2, not their quality. i've described why they are poorly designed, plus those events are very predictable, so your claims are actually wrong.

- story in this game is weak [half life]

- a boring walking simulator [half life: alex]

- RDR2 is just a boring horse-simulator. [rdr2]

- Timecycle devs developed is amateurish. [rdr2]

- Combat is quite subpar compared to other games. [half life]

- Random events are poorly designed. [rdr2]

- Black Mesa is much better than Half-Life 1 [half life]

- quake is boring nowadays [quake]

- Puzzles are stranglely repetitive in this one.

- Half-Life 1 isn't worth playing and it's ridiculous to see it still being forced.

- Halo is really generic and unfun.

- Community doesn't want quality. Finals is an example.

- Half-Life is not revolutionary.

And that's just scratching the surface, most have been locked already and I got tired of looking. It started a few years ago with literally 1-word answers and has progressed gradually and predictably to these recent endless screeds covering a half-page or more, designed to provoke responses it can then reply too. Seriously lame.
Imagine if he spent the same time he did posting garbage as he did actually playing video games? Or getting a job?
