Whats the biggest differences in terms of single player free roam in RDR2 and RDO

I've been quite indecisive recently if I want to get RDR2 or just get RDO. I mainly would just like to free roam in singleplayer, but I don't know if RDR2 is that much better at it then in RDO. I would like to know the main details or features that differentiate them. I also know that RDR2 has an amazing campaign, but is it worth the extra money?

Red dead online is an unplayable wasteland filled with hackers and cheaters who spawn animals on you and teleport you into the ocean. The story mode is all you'll ever need if you just want to free roam.

It also happens to be a very good story that's pretty long

SP is one the best games ever made. Online is trash and abandoned before it began.
RDRO still doesnt even have 1% of what GTAO launched with.

No, there are like 10 or 12 missions total. half with good honor and half without.

You misunderstand; Red Dead Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 are separate entities.

The story mode, which is single player only, has an incredibly long campaign. The online mode, which can be played with others, has a campaign, but it's significantly shorter, and not very good.

If you buy Red Dead Redemption 2, you get access to Red Dead Online for free.

Yeah but I was wondering if it was basically the same I would just get RDO when it was on sale and have some extra money to buy GTA 5 with. Now though, after getting RDR2 I'm $0.24 dollars away from getting GTA 5 when it was on sale. Such a pain lol

Red Dead Online is a shell of a game. The singleplayer is the only thing worth playing.

Set the price of the card you're selling to 1 cent less than current market price. You'll get a purchase within a few hours at most

damn I just wish my dumbass didn't convert a card into those crystals that was worth 0.50 a few weeks ago.
