Seriously, I think they got what they wanted, this game dead. Now people who are victims of cheaters are also getting banned for stupid reasons + solo glitches. I understand that cheaters can go to hell, for all I care, but rockstar not knowing how to differ between people caught in the fire and the ones causing it + banning them with the same penalty, ♥♥♥♥ THAT!!! RDO is officially dead.

So true. It would be better if Rockstar didnt do anything about cheaters than punish honest players. I will endure the cheaters bullying, but deleting a character I spent 600 hours on...

The thing most players don't understand is that the ban wave has been in works for awhile so stuff they done a couple of months ago could be the reason they are getting banned.
I've seen the trash that goes on in publics, with half or more of the session in valentine, begging and taking from cheater spawned chests.
I think the amount of honest players getting banned is tiny if any at all and the ones moaning on steam forums are either cheaters or took excessive amounts from cheaters.
There is a way cheaters can force you to take stuff but i never encountered it in +1k hours and many of those hours where in random posses.

After what happen to me I'm done with Rockstar games moving forward, per banned me just for using solo lobby manager, Rockstar games I don't know why you hate safe space I really don't know why, I'm just trying to get away for modders and yet ya punish me not just one but twice just for using solo session manager, what makes the manager a threat to your game please tell me what makes it a threat, it does nothing but give you a solo session it not like those stupid Mod Cheat Menu's that have god mode unlimited ammo warping unlimited cash.

That is also my point. I use RDO lobby manager from Nexus for this exact purpose, now i'm afraid of getting banned and lose more than 100h of gameplay just because I hate hackers and had the same thought to avoid them by using this mod. I also did Lake Isabella glitch a few times, I have both glitched and honest money/gold on my character,

It's not fair for people like me, I detest cheaters/hakcers who interfere with my gameplay, I may have used glitch in the game but it didn't change anything for me cause I still played and I'd still continue to play in Solo Lobby, but it seems Rockstar doesn't want that, they want people spending real money to buy gold bars, otherwise you won't even begin a role to start with, That's ridiculous. I'm level 89 and i'm afraid after all the reports I've seen so far, my character will probably get banned.

I already use startup.meta file. Thank you, but this is exaclty my concern due to some other players reporting of getting banned for solo lobby. Rockstar Policy and terms of use changed recently and their doing is pretty much shooting in the dark for both cheaters and victims.

Never heard of any players getting banned for using this file or this solo lobby.

The thing is, even in solo lobby, you're not safe anymore, you may not encounter hackers, but if you use a single glitch, you'll be taking same chances to get banned as if you were playing in public.

I'm talking about RDO lobby manager found in NexusMods, which is different from just using the startup.meta file, although the mod uses a similar scripted file, it changes the lobby session even if it's you and your friend.

My mates and I have been using that solo lobby meta file since last Christmas without a single issue.

Nothing's changed and we're still using it.

I feel like going to rockstar games and unleashing my anger towards them. I was 340 now I'm nothing, they are trying to kill Red Dead 2 for sure letting op mods kill everyone and going after Solo lobby managers , I don't know why they are so stupid.

I love Red Dead 2 Online it fun but they just let those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ freakers come into this game and screw us on a daily basis, I can be in a session for like almost an hour than boom china man with mod menu comes in and screws us all, there is numbers of reasons why I use Rockstar Manager, to get away from Modders and it stops the FFFFF Message.

also an update Rockstar removed me banned from social club cause I was in their face fighting them cause of this crap.
