Nothing wrong with being a newbie we all are at one stage or another, some games are harder for ppl than others.
So long as you are enjoying the game at no one else expense.
But about that online bit that everyone wants to throw out there,
Isn't any way to not go online with RDR2.
Game itself is constantly sending data to Rockstar as well as peer to peer outgoing, lan multicast outgoing & google-analytics
That's without even factoring in the launcher and social club which does the same, just not as much of a constant stream of data the game itself sends out.
Only one that you could block and have the game still function is google-analytics.
Other than that one exception, you are online when you play the game single or multiplayer.
However once you launch RDR2 and reach the main menu, you no longer need to be connected online to keep playing Story Mode this way as long as the game remains open should you cut or lose internet connection.
Story Mode Mods don't get in the way of the Launcher or Game working properly and will not get you banned. With the proper script-hook and asi-loader needed for mods, it will disable the ability to enter RDO from the game anyways.
Are you using KB+M or Controller?
That's different, those are paid trainer crap they got from someone on Discord.
I've gotten plenty of SocialClub DMs advertising that crap.
But yea, seems like Rockstar gave up on this back around 2021 or so. After that point I never hear about anyone getting banned from GTAV or RDR2
