Ps5 Controller
i'm playing on pc and have my ps5 controller connected, but for some reason the buttons displayed are mismatched. i'm getting xbox buttons rather than ps5, couldn't find any solution to it.

Right click RDR2 in Steam Library > Properties > Input > Disable Steam Input > Click OK.

Done. Enjoy!

Sorry, it's even worse. With disabled Steam Input my PS5 controller is not detected in game, neither on Wireless nor on Cable. Only enabling SI allows me to use it, but still, only Xbox button icons are displayed :(

I don't know why RockStar doesn't apply the same improvements they added to the GTAV enhanced edition (ps5 controller support chief among them)

Cause RDR2 is dead as far as updates are concerned. It has been since Sep 2021 or so.

PC = get an Xbox controller; or Xbox controller with Sony layout; such as something from Razer or 8bitDo.
