Does buying Red Dead Redemption 2 give you access to red dead online?

basically exactly as the title sais, I already own red dead online but was gonna get my friends into it, and noticed the main game on sale for nearly the same price as online by itself, so does purchasing the main game give you access to the online mode?

No RDR2 does not give you a game for free , you can play RDR2 Single Player Story Mode but it won't give you the first game ( Unless they add it as a Special when & if they put a sale on it ).

Btw you have a choice to pick from when you Launch RDR2 & that is play Single Player Mode or Switch to Online mode at any time.

I wasnt talking about the first game, was just asking about the online mode that they also sell standalone.

I'm perty sure that when you buy ( If you buy the game ) RDR2 it lets you go Online with no issue.

But let me check my game first to double make sure & i'll post a reply here in a sec ok.

RDR2 comes with Online Mode that you can play at anytime if you get tired of playing Single Player Mode or just want to play a Female character or if you just wan't to have some PvP against others.

Btw if you wanna Play Online but don't wanna deal with a random player killing you out of the blue there here a link that will help you have a Private Session ( Kinda like your own Private Server that you can play with just your friends if you want ) :

Just make sure to listen to the Instructions & follow them & also listen to what he says so you will know what to do if you wanna play with other random players later on, The file is safe to use & it does not affect Steam or affect Rockstar in any way other than giving you a Private World Mode.

A Word of advice do not try to use cheats or cheating Software cause then you could possibly get Banned from going Online.

you can buy Red Dead online without Red Dead 2
but if you buy Read Dead 2 you Get Red Dead Online too
