As I've yet to see any that have such an issue as the mods are not dependent on that at all.
And what are your specs and OS?
OS: Windows 11
GPU: RTX 3070
CPU: i7-12700H
Latest RDR2 build
Only mods im using are WERO and PDO through Lenny's Mod loader
I attempted reinstalling RDR2 and the mods but the issue is still persisting that the mods only work when DX12 is enabled.
I know what Lennys Mod Loader is, which isn't a problem.
I don't why you'd ever have to reinstall the game or mods; that doesn't make any sense to waste time doing. All that does is redownload the game files and the mods are just drag and drop of some files. Perhaps you are missing something that a mod needs.
It's also known RDR2 just doesn't work well on Win11. Why are people even using that OS.
Change the game API to DX12.
Apply and if asked to restart the game select NO.
Then back out to the main menu and exit the game.
Give it about 30-60 secs to properly close out.
Relaunch RDR2 and go into Settings > Graphics > Run the Benchmark.
Allow this to run all the way through. This will allow game to create a series of DX12 shader cache files. After the benchmark completes, try playing Story Mode now and see how it does.
Yeah I seemingly do not have any conflicts, and I was not using Version.dll. I simply load vulkan and cannot access function key prompts like Enhanced Brawling, PED Damage Overhaul. I can load ScriptHook and see that all the scripts are there. Unless you could tell me how to get Day - Night transitions actually work properly on DX12, I very much would like Vulkan to work.
