Dead Eye Level 4 Not Showing Weak Spots/Critical Points

Hey y'all my game has this problem that i can't see the red spots on animals/npcs ability that unlocks at level 4 Dead Eye, the mechanic/feature simply does not exist for me.
My character is at max level Dead Eye and i've tried with multiple saves already, if i finish the game on 10 different saves the 10 will have the same problem, i verified the game files multiple times, reinstalled the whole game, changed the graphical settings, changed color blindness settings and my graphics card drivers is up to date.
Yes, i know how to use Dead Eye and no the core is not empty.

Usually this will not show up on Animals properly if too far away and/or have the wrong weapon equipped. For example if it says you should take down "insert animal type here" with Varmint Rifle, then that's what you should use. Sometimes you can get lucky though using other weapons, especially if you have the trinket that raises the chance for a perfect pelt.

I've noticed that for that to show up, sometimes there is also a short delay involved. This can be dragged out it seems, if your FPS is poor at that particular spot during the gameplay as well. There have been a few times where I'd enter Dead-Eye and it not showing up like you say. Then I exit dead-eye and try again and it showed up normally just fine as expected.

Only after i've tried hunting an animal with the right weapon the game unlocked the mechanic for me, i haven't hunted in the entire game until up to this point and now it's working on animals and people.
