If i perma remove RDR2 from my account, will i be able to Purchase the Ultimate Edition after?

I regret not buying the Ultimate Edition back then but we players have no option to upgrade from Standard to Ultimate from Rockstar.

I'm asking for accurate information if you can remove the game permanently & then re-purchase the Ultimate Edition, if this somehow would work or steam will allow this?

I haven't been able to find accurate information my self. Ty in advance.

You can remove it from your Steam Account, but it will remain in your Rockstar Account that you linked. However, I have no idea if you will still be able to play it. If you want to buy the Ultimate Edition, you have an option:
Remove the game from your account via Steam Support and buy the Ultimate Edition, then link this new copy to a new Rockstar Account.

But if you just want to buy the Ultimate Edition just for the cosmetics, I'm pretty sure you can use a save editor to unlock those things in your standard game (even though I can't remember if you can unlock the bonus money and heist missions). Anyways, I hope I could help you!

Another simple option is to create new steam and R* accounts under a new email address and buy it on that account . . . only takes a few minutes and you'll have both.

Thnx to Rockstar support answering my question, you can buy the Ultimate Edition on Rockstar own store(Rockstar Game Launcher) and it will upgrade your Steam Standard Edition to Ultimate Edition.

I can confirm it did work and all the items are unlocked in game.
Got my 2 unique trinkets right away and the unique horse is in the stable.

Ofc you have re-purchase the game with the Ultimate Edition but still.

Yeah if you buy the Ultimate edition on Rockstar Game Launcher, it will just add the new content to story & online mode, not chainging or removing any save files.
