weapons expert 7 bug?

Trying to complete weapons expert 7. I am only using the ancient tomahawk for my kills after 2 clean kills (3 kills total because the 1st kill doesn't count) and no misses the count resets every time. I am not killing anybody with another weapon. Only thing I am doing is using the lasso to tie them up then kill them. Is there a secret time limit I am not aware of like all 4 kills have to happen withing 30 seconds or something? HELP!

it's consecutive kills with the same tomahawk, (you have to pick it back up,) and you can't use deadeye because that resets the counter.

pretty sure you can complete it by just running up and killing them, you don't have to throw it.

Maybe the lasso also counts as a waepon? Try tying up three bandits and then kill all three?

You're going about it all wrong.
Use the ones you can craft. Then you will have 4 of them to throw right after another and get your 4 consecutive kills with.

No you can't go using the Lasso, or it breaks the count.

If you want to though it could quickly tie up 4 people and then go and quickly kill all 4 using any type of Tomahawk.

You do not have to use the same tomahawk over and over again.

This challenge DOES NOT require you to throw the Tomahawk in order to get your kills. So you could just set it all up in a way that you melee kill all 4 in a row using Tomahawk of some kind.

While the Ancient Tomahawk is unique but you can only have one.
You have another Tomahawk weapon option in that slot for: Tomahawk, Improved Tomahawk, Homing Tomahawk

it literally says in the challenge to use the same tomahawk.

"Kill Four Consecutive Enemies by Throwing and Retrieving the Same Tomahawk"

trying to use a second tomahawk will reset the count every time.

this is the entire point of "consecutive kills" with the tomahawk, you need to kill all 4 enemies with the same tomahawk.

people recommend dropping all other tomahawks so that it doesn't auto switch when doing this challenge.

If I use 3 homing Tomahawk for examaple tbis counts as the same weapon.

Tons of people on Reddit bave confirmed this many times over the years with regards to what all I said above.

Also do you all realize how easy it is to pick a Tomahawk and melee kill 4 people in a row. Way too easy. Just use a health buffing tonic before attempting it.

IDK where you made up the time limit from. There is no time limit just has to be consecutive kills. You understand what that word means right?

Find one of them small 4 man O'driscoll camps and lasso them one at a time, while on horse, drag them far enough away so the waiting O'driscolls stop shooting, they'll still be close enough to see them when you go back for another. Line them up tied next to each other and kill them one at a time with a tomahawk. Even tho it's a game I still felt like some sadistic murdering monster. I hate how this game gets off on mindless violence. (I used a homing tomahawk so I have no idea if a hand held tomahawk works).

^ LOL we spend hours in RDO doing that to a whole town of NPCs, just for fun... all while having a few drinks IRL. And no I don't do that to random real players.

It's just a game. No amount of blood, gore or violence in these games should really effect you. If so, well I guess just a weak minded being.
