How do I know if I have the Ultimate Edition already or not?

I'm trying to figure out if I have the Ultimate Edition? It doesn't say "Ultimate Edition" in my library next to Red Dead Redemption 2, however, when I add the Ultimate Edition to my cart it says that I already own this game...

So if I don't have the Ultimate Edition, is it possible to upgrade to it in some way from the standard version?

check ur dlcs of rdr 2, if u have special edition dlc so u have it

Ok, I don't see that I have any DLC whatsoever.

So it doesn't appear that I can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition, meaning I would have to purchase the game again essentially.

Also, I bought it in 2019 so I don't think the Ultimate Edition was out yet, right?

In which case, I literally can't have the Ultimate Edition unless I get the standard version removed from my account first lmao. What a joke! I just contacted Steam Support so we'll see if they can help me in any way. I'm really surprised this is a thing; surely many people have reached out to them because of this..

Ultimate Edition was available on release, if you've already bought a previous version of RDR2 you can't upgrade to any other edition and as such the only way to acquire it would be to remove the product from your account and the desired edition, or buying it on another account. It's dumb but it's Rockstar logic.

Interesting; I didn't know it was available on release.

Yeah, this seems like an incredible oversight; I am dumbfounded that they haven't provided an upgrade path for their consumers.
