Report a translation problem
Verify the game file integrity via the Steam file integrity utility, then make sure you are using DX12 and NOT Vulcan graphics API from the game settings. this should fix the issue. Did for me.
Launch Red Dead Redemption 2
From the main menu, select Settings.
Select Charts.
Under Advanced Settings, select "Unlocked".
Under Graphics API, select DirectX 12
Save your settings, but do not restart the game.
Return to the Main Menu.
quit the game
Launch Red Dead Redemption 2
Spread the message!

everytime i go to valentine my game freezes and has happened ever since the recent update and idk what to do.
CLOSE THE OVERLAYS.
Close MSI, Nvidia and even the Steam overlay. Now I can play with ease.
im using FSR and its fine :)
