You have to go to the Gun Store in Saint Dennis in order to see ALL the available guns.
Prices = based on Honor level
Low Honor = Higher Prices
High Honor = Lower Prices
This affects prices for all things in Story Mode; provisions, guns, ammo, horses; etc.
I've actually done this quite a few times because I wanted to go around and hunt on-foot and when I do this usually means Dual Revolvers + 22 Rifle + Bow. If I run into something like a Big Elk or Bear, I use Improved Arrows, 1x shot and they're mine. If enemy humans come into play while I'm doing this and they are at a decent range, can easily just use the 22 Rifle, as long as you get a head/neck shot, they're done in 1x shot also. I reason I tent to switch to this combo for hunting is because some small animals or birds are best taken down with small game arrow, while others you'll want to use the 22 Rifle for.
It's also extremely easy to take down a grizzly with throwing knife or throwing tomahawk.
Sometimes I just don't realize it and I'll be walking and before you know it, I'm out of the calling range for my horse. No big deal though it you use an effective load-out.
This also was helpful when I glitched outside the map, went all the way around New Austin to avoid invisible sniper, then went to Guarma. I found a Horse to use while outside the map. But since it doesn't have your saddle on it, you can't switch weapon loadout while doing this type of thing. Course when playing as John, you can glitch over to Mexico and then to Guarma without having to go outside the map around New Austin area.
