Launcher is telling me I don't own the game

I've owned this game for years.. I just reinstalled it to play it and now the social club is saying I dont own the game?

Steam needs to ban third party launchers. Between, Rockstar, EA, and Ubisoft I have a hard time knowing which one is worse..

If anyone has anyway to fix this issue please help me sort it out.

Now it's telling me I'm not on the internet when I clearly am on the internet.. How the ♥♥♥♥ does steam let these companies pair this god awful software is products on their platform??

I can't even refund the game because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I've had it since 2019! Rockstar sucks

Already did most of this. Didn't fix it.

R* is trash. I uninstalled the game and I will never give them another penny.

Add them to the list of AAA developers and Publishers that are being boycotted.

These games cost too much money and take up too much space for them to work SOME of the time.

I had trouble with it too at first, It would crash when I tried to load the save from the opening menu. The game booted fine for me, but then I had the problem. I turned off DLSS when loading and it hasnt happened since. I also rolled back to an older Nvidia driver. 531.68.

I doubt the driver would affect the running of the Rockstar app, but though id mention that.

Use chrome or any internet browser and go to Rockstar website and select "Sign In", if the Sign In website return 404 or just keep loading nonstop that's the F8cking ip issue. Now you either need new IP address (some provider actually given you FIXED ip address so doesn't matter how many time you switch on/off the router, you are F*cked with that)

Or use any sorts of VPN services that allow your router to connect to their "prejudice" US server so that your launcher can do the proper work that was intended to.

Most of the time are just IP address issue, a VPN can easily fix it, sometime maybe is the mod like the ScriptHooker that need to up to date due to the game new patch that confused the game launcher.

Does the launcher say you don't have a Social Club account because you don't own Red Dead Online?

I had the same issue and had to change a system.xml setting from Vulkan to DX_12
