Hey Im new to rdr 2 can anyone help me get money or to be friends?

There's a burned town next to the Dakota River called Limpany, in the sheriff's office under the desk will be a gold bar worth $500. You can also do treasure hunts.

There's also a treasure map, valerian root, a rock carving and a couple of other bits to find in and around Limpany.

If you're talking about online then press "L" and check out the daily challenges for a quick way to make some gold or check out the post offices for simple early missions that return gold.

i will add that the RD On-line economy is nerfed when compared to "Story Mode" (single-player) economy - to encourage micro-transactions for "better" on-line play.

I went 3 times eveyday already and still no gold bar or lock box there.

The lock box is under a desk in the Sheriffs office, directly on your left as you walk in.

Walk around the desk and it's underneath.

The gold etc. are in Story Mode only, I believe. If you are in online, they are not there. in online, do the Daily Challenges, and stranger missions for gold.
For money, missions are also good.
