And you are launching correctly?
> Steam > Run As Admin
> Rockstar Launcher > Run As Admin
> Login, tick Remember Me + Auto
> Launch RDR2 from Rockstar Laucnher
Wait a bit until the black screen w/ loading bar comes up.
Documents > Rockstar Games > Launcher
Documents > Rockstar Games > SocialClub
Uninstall SoclaLClub and Rockstar Launcher. Then go to here...
Documents > Rockstar Games
and also
%localappdata% > Rockstar Games
Within those two folders, delete these folders inside...
Launcher and SocialClub
Then get latest Rockstar Launcher from > https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher
Once it is installed, run it. Then enter login info and tick the boxes for Remember Me + Auto. Then go to its Settings and disable "Start with Windows" and enable "Hibernate when Game is running"
Exit out of it. Restart Windows.
Launch Steam Client via Run As Admin.
Launch Rockstar Launcher via Run As Admin.
Go to Steam Library > RDR2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify > wait til finished.
When this is done, click Play for RDR2 in the Rockstar Launcher, not Steam.
Give it about 60-90 secs to launch the game; RDR2.EXE
I just did all of that so I don't have any logged data, but none of that worked so I'm wondering if I should just contact Rockstar themselves even though they suck ass at helping people
You said you did the above. Then you will have logs; as they will be produced from the Rockstar Launcher, not just when running the launcher but when attempting to launch a game from it.
If you still having issues then it's something on your system or how its configured that's preventing the Launcher or Game from running properly.
