unfortunately no.
oh i my bad been a while since I've played online
there was so much potential for rdro but they really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up, nice one R*
still works, I always use this when playing on PC
Isn´t changing game files bannable? Or has anyone heard from RS about this? Just wondering.
if you connect to online mode with installed mods and/or modyfied game files it is bannable. but I don't know if that's the same for creating private sessions like in this video.
sorry for my broken englisch
It doesn't really make sense, you can get banned for using a mod to have private sessions to avoid having hackers in your game, cause they're not banning the hackers.

Agreed that level 100+ players with a great loadout and a ton of tonics can seem invincible, but the people running around in flaming outfits spawning panthers, loot chests and naked women hordes aren't "experienced players with some OP cards", so good luck 'gettin good' in that case . . . they are clearly script kiddies screwing with everyone they meet.
There's less of them than there used to be, but there's still enough to make some lobbies unplayable.
Again, this link shows you how to do it:

(I have never heard of anyone getting banned for using this trick.)
Otherwise, if you want to play in public sessions, and not get endlessly harassed by cheaters, you need to play Red Dead Online on a newer console (PS4, XBox One, etc).
Tragically, Rockstar is incapable of minimizing cheating on PC. They couldn’t stop it in the PC version of GTA Online, and they’re not fairing any better on the PC version of RDO. :(
