Rockstar social club down, can't start the game.
Does anyone else experience this problem or is it just me?

is that not strange? its working for me 2 hours.. then rockstargames ban my IP.
now i cant connect in browser too.
rockstargames scaming peoples cross steam?!
where should we report this?! i want my money back.

why banned? i for one got my copy of the game legit, i haven't played for like 2 weeks and wanted to get back in to do a bit of hunting for that ultimate satchel aaaaand surprise the launcher won't let me, its been like this for a while, why am i being punished for something i didn't do? well....F* Rockstar and their dog poop launcher, if they don't fix this mess i will never get anything from them ever again

I'm not banned or have a modded game and it does not work for me? How is this possible I was thinking they would have the game working by now it's been several years lol

Yeah that is what it kinda looks like to me as well. I was able to play for a couple of hours and now I can not hmmm

Well I had to use a vpn too. Never done mods or online play. Just story mode heh. Something is surely wrong. Its also the only rockstar game I have played aswell.

Why open your mouth just to reveal your stupidity. This is clearly not true as demonstrated by everyone here.

Faced the same issue after the recent update..posting here what worked for me.

1.Start Rockstar Games Launcher (not from steam, separately) but with your internet off.
2. It will display a long message in red about not being online and sh*t..dont bother just close and exit
3. On your internet now
4. Launch Rockstar Games Launcher again..it will do some update automatically and login window will pop up..login and logout.
5. Now start steam and run rdr2..it will launch.

This is not a guaranteed solution but it worked for me.

realy, but what about me? i was never banned and didnt modify game, it was also possible to play rdr2 recently, but then someting went wrong with rockstar launcher

i've unplugged my router and left it like that for like 20 minutes and once i've plugged it back in and allowed the connection to re-establish itself it seems the problem got fixed, idk for how long though

Asi těžko, hru jsem si legálně koupil zde na Steamu a Social club od Rockstar nebere moji wifi. Ikdyž jsem na netu, hlásí offline a aktivaci. Takže plácáš nesmysly.
