Skip chapter 1
5 hours in, the game decided that I did something that I didn't want to do, so I killed myself immediately, believing it would reload at some previous checkpoint like usual. But instead it saved the progress because somehow now I'm an immortal, and I spawned in the middle of somewhere I've never been before. Naturally, I want to restart at the start of the mission, not at the end but the bright minds at Rockstar somehow couldn't foresee that something like this could happen. So now I need to restart from the beginning of the game, which I don't really have the energy to do. Is there a way to skip chapter one, using some code or whatever?

The only way would be to use someone elses save file.

Manually save often.

Wait, the game decided you did something that you didn't want to do?

I'm confused, are you calling the game a liar? Did it force you to do something? Did you do the thing but then blame the game for it?

What happened?

Alright. Lesson learned. Will definitely save at the start of each mission from now on.

I don't want to spoil it but, you know whenever you're deciding someones fate etc? Well something happened that made me unable holster my gun, so I couldn't choose what I wanted to do, so the timer went out and the other choice was the natural outcome.
