Best looking graphics settings
What are some great settings for high-end PCs? Maxing out everything doesn't seem to give great looking results, and there is a lot to fiddle with.

select DSR 8k graphics and toggle off DLSS auto and set it to max

Remember great cooling, you will need it and your pc will sound like a jetfighter about to take off :steamlaughcry:

Thank you, haven't thought about that. It is mainly the hair that bothers me the most, the textures/meshes producing transparent grainy flickering.

Try turning off soft shadows in advanced settings. That should help with some of the grainy flickering.

No matter how hard I try it still does not look as good as ViVa La Dirt League, main reason I bought this game.

If you use TAA you sharpen that with it's setting. DLSS has it's own sharpening slider and so does FSR. I feel you are trying to battle the postprocessing AA. I play this 1440p with DLSS and the sharpening at 10 notches from the left. Image is crispy clear. I don't find the jump to 4k and to the couch so drastically better that I would choose to play at 4k over the 100fps I get from 2k gaming with dynamic sync on.

I am on a 4090 on Samsung G9 (5120x1440) Game looks AMAZING. You first need to make sure all the normal graphics are set to ULTRA or High, Then unlock the advanced sections and fiddle with many of the settings there. You will never get the desired look without going into the advanced section. Things like water or Fog and or reflections become night and day in terms of visuals. If you're not on a 4090 you're going to get visuals but with a huge penalty hit (Thats why those settings are off by default). Turn off film grain and Motion Blur. DLSS at Quality if on a 4090 to get back FPS with no visual quality loss. Turn off Tripple buffering. My 2 cents.

Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR sharpening looks fugly, don't use it.

instead use MSAA or TAA with highest multiplier, and make sure you have very high end monitor too (HDR and 10-bit color)
