NO SOUND

Help me, I just bought the game today but the sound stops in the shots before rockstar logo, in game I can´t hear anything

open volume mixer and choose the volume there.

Try to go to your sound settings in your computer, mine is realtek. Set it to stereo then check the box virtual surround. It might work as I had the same problem with games that are originally made for playstation.

Try to go in advance sound settings, then app volume and device preferences, but I presume you tried that too.

yep, no works, the volume is in 70 and isn´t muted, i don´t know what else to do

Verify integrity of game files, that’s the first thing you should do when something is wrong with your game.

Right click on the game in your library —> Properties —> Installed Files —> Verify

I´ve done that like 3 times, and no fix the sound, only there sound when the logo of rockstar appear

I already checked the files twice, I even reinstalled the game, but I have the same problem, the sound only comes out when rockstar opens and then I don't hear anything else

I found a work around guys!!!!!! and girls.. If you have an arctis 7 like i do, and you are experiencing the no sound other than the rockstar shotgun shells. BLUETOOTH your headset to your laptop or desktop.. its not perfect and depending on your device and location. it might get spoty or glitchy but its better than nothing until this bug gets fixed

My headset is a razer nari ultimate, it only has a 2.4g connection, it doesn't have bluetooth

Uninstall and re-install the drivers to whatever unit you're using. It'll require a system re-boot as well. Fixed my issue in 5 mins.
