Rockstar account hacked and email changed

So after a playing rdr2 one day , in the same day some ugly low life loser hacked into my rockstar account and changed email to his. Now I am not able to launch the game even if in rockstar's social club it says I still have my old email but everytime I launch the game it says to manually log in and verify that hacker's email. I tried contacting their support but being a competent support team they haven't replied to any single queires for the pas 3-4 days. They only asked me to confirm my email through replying through email which I did but there was no follow up from their side. and haven't been able to play the game for almost 5-6 days. So is there anything I can do or any other way to contact them? It is really frustrating since these was a expensive purchase for me , and took me almost a year to save up. And it is terrible for companies to force their stupid third party loser launchers and account process to play their damn game instead of launching straight through steam.

on the 12th yesterday my rockstart account was also hacked and the perpetrator changed the email on my r* account,
so right now I can't play RDR 2 or Gta 5 without a rockstar account.

Has something changed in the cheating/mod community recently to make it effortless for cheaters to hack other player’s accounts?

This seems to be a huge problem with lots of players all of a sudden. :(

thanks for the reply, i tried this but stupid rockstar's garbage site breaks and says I already have a account linked with my this email and have to delete it first and then when I click on deleting it the whole site breaks. Now it won't register my pass and displays "something broke" . Ducking great , but thanks for your help, now atleast i Know there are others who are stuck with me in this hell hole of rockstar BS club

yeah its not only you, its literally thousands of people that bought the game in the last week or 2.
rockstar somehow turned into a real trash company lately.
i grew up playing the original gta top down.
so that evolution from then, to this. rdr2 (when it was functional and good) was impressive to me.
but now i see people being STOLEN FROM. and this company doesn't say shidd about it.
and steam keeps selling for that almighty $$$.
disgusts me.

I've got a response, but the simpletons want me to provide the details of the hacker's account to reestablish the link (which they say will also make me lose access to the games I had previously purchased). I'm still fighting with them, but it's been three weeks now and it just keeps going around and around. I've tried the live chat too, but they won't help you for this issue with live chat.

This happened to me today after buying RDR2 on sale earlier this week. I knew it was serious when I read here and on the web that I was not the only one. I created a support ticket but after reading around I figured Rockstar will never respond on time to so I kept on researching.

After following the steps in the link I added 2 factor authentication for another layer of security since Rockstar's cybersecurity systems are sh*t!

I have the same question as Pinstripe Potoroo, how are cheaters/hackers suddenly able to easily steal other people’s accounts? @_@

Have hackers found a security-vulnerability that just gives them the ability to change the email address tied to other player’s accounts?

yeah, that is a problem with rockstar. not on the user end.
their system is compromised.
everything is if you didnt know.
if you'd like i can send you every single thing i know.
cause i think most people don't know how comp'd everything is today.
all of this is out in the open. there is no secure chip anymore.
even if you have a computer that is offline. never once connected to internet.
the data can still be pulled from it.

You have to be lucky if that hacker didn't change your password cause in my case he did
